The Oakbourne Mansion was built by Mr. and Mrs. John Hulme in the late 1800’s as a summer home. In 1893, it was willed to the Philadelphia Protestant Episcopal City Mission to serve as a convalescent home for women. The Oakbourne Mansion is the perfect place to hold your wedding and reception. The air-conditioned Victorian-era interior of the Mansion beautifully lends itself to an elegant indoor event, seating up to 120 in multiple rooms. The spacious grounds allow for an inspired tented affair for larger gatherings. Use the unique water tower as the backdrop for your real-life fairy tale, or hold your ceremony under a natural cathedral in the mature arboretum.
